“Caddis Flies and the Art of Caddis Fly Fishing”
Fly Tier:
Ryan Spillers. Ryan Spillers has worked for Anglers for the last several years. Ryan teaches fly tying classes at Anglers and ties up many of the flies for local waters sold at the store. Ryan has also been a fly fishing guide in Alaska.
Speaker:
Mike Sandifer has been an avid fly angler for the past 45 years. Mike owns and operates Northwest School of Fly Fishing and Merlin's Fly Fishing. He has taught fly fishing classes in Boise schools and has been a professional fly fishing coach for 15 years. Mike will make a presentation on understanding how caddis flies live and strategies used when fishing a caddis emergence.
