Fly Tier:  TBA

Speaker: John Cassinelli

I was born and raised in rural norther Nevada on a large working cattle ranch (that my family still owns and runs), I studied undergraduate Biology at the University  of Nevada, Reno and received my Master’s in Fisheries Resources from the University of Idaho (apologies to BSU fans). I’ve been a biologist for IDFG for almost ten years, spending my first five years doing hatchery Chinook Salmon research and my last five years doing hatchery trout research.  I am an avid fly fisher myself having started around age 12.
