BVFF. March 17 2018 outing will be held on the Boise River In Town.
The club will meet at 9AM in Barber Park in the main parking lot near the restrooms.
The Boise River In Town can be a very good fishery and it often is not given the credit it deserves and is passed up for more well known and better understood waters.
Part of the reason the river in town is often overlooked is because a lot of anglers become frustrated when they have a hard time finding where the fish are holding and what techniques to use to catch them.
This outing will be a great opportunity for club members who are not always able to travel out of town to attend other club outings, and will be a great opportunity for those anglers in the club who have figured out how and where to fish the river in town to share their knowledge with other less experienced anglers and people who are knew to the area.
We will meet at 9AM in the parking lot, where we can collaborate and discuss the different fly fishing techniques and how to set up your system then we can fish the river locally together.
This outing will be a BYO event and will not conclude with the usual BBQ. Instead, it has been suggested that after the day of fishing anglers can meet at Lucky 13 restaurant to share their stories of successes and failures over good food and drink.
