WESTERN IDAHO FLY FISHING EXPO 2019

The Boise Valley Fly Fishers are pleased to announce the 14th Annual Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo to be held on January 11-12, 2019. The 2018 two day show had attendance of over 2,500 with over 70 exhibitors and numerous educational programs.
The event will be held at Expo Idaho (www.expoidaho.com) in Garden City, Idaho, with two indoor casting ponds: a single handed casting and a two-handed Spey casting pond. Demonstration fly tying and a fly tying theater will showcase the art and skills of creating hand-tied flies. Educational presentations on fly fishing by local and national experts.
We will continue the Friday night social hour with a live band to enhance our 15th annual show. Current EXPO details can be found at BVFFExpo.com
The Boise Valley Fly Fishers is the oldest fly fishing organization in Idaho, founded in 1971. The Boise metropolitan area has grown significantly in the past few years, and so has the local interest in fly fishing. Our mission to promote the sport of fly-fishing through education and conservation activities is dependent upon a successful Expo. Instruction in fly tying, casting, and fly fishing ethics has been the foundation of this event. We plan to expand our educational workshops this year, while continuing a wide range of dynamic lectures.
