The Indian Head Fly Fishers are again sponsoring their Owyhee River cleanup day. The club has been holding this event since 2002, and has removed tons of trash over the years.
The cleanup will begin at 9:00 AM on April 13 at the Wildlife Viewing Area with coffee, donuts, and a short cleanup meeting. From there the cleanup will begin, and extend upriver 13 miles, finishing just below the dam at the picnic area.
If water inflow increases dramatically triggering excess water to be spilled then we will reevaluate the timing of this project.
Hotdogs and drinks will be provided to all that participated in the cleanup. Call the number below to let them know you will be participating so they can plan accordingly for enough food.
