Saturday, March 21st, we will meet at Barber Park, 4049 S Eckert Rd. Boise, ID 83716 At 9:00AM in the main parking lot near the rest rooms and where river floaters put in. There will be a demonstration on how to set up a Nymphing rig to successfully fish the Boise River in town. After the demonstration, fishing will commence. Attendees are welcome to split up and spread out on the river as they wish. Experienced anglers are encouraged to “Team Up” with those who are less experienced with the hopes of helping them to be more successful, and confident on the water.
This is a good location for the intended purpose, as There is plenty of good fishing water both upstream and downstream from the area where we will be meeting, and perhaps most importantly there is a functioning restroom.
At the end of the day, Club members usually like to pick a restaurant to meet at to grab a cold one and a bite to eat, and to talk about their successes and failures of the day. This destination will be agreed upon by the attendees before splitting up to go fishing.
