September Outing: McCall, ID Area Waters
Host: Tom Old
One of the greatest places in Idaho is the McCall area in the early fall. We are planning our September outing to the McCall area. Based on the weather and those that can attend we will look at areas to fish like:
We will adjust our fishing based on the group input. We do no all have to go on the same trip as there are many opportunities in the area.
Current plans:
Friday, lake fishing at Little Payette Lake. We will start around 10. This is an interesting lake with small mouth bass, trout, kokanee and tiger musky. You will need a float tube, kayak, or canoe to access most of the water. We can bring extra float tubes to the lake if you let us know in advance. Saturday we are looking at a hike to a high mountain lake --- or you can fish the closer river or lakes. On this trip, we do not have a central campsite. There are many camp sites, hotels and possible cabins in the area. We will be staying at the: Wyndham Time Share. WorldMark McCall

We will be practicing social distancing guidelines and at this time we do not plan on a BVFF Sponsored potluck. It is fall in McCall and the weather is changing. The lows look like in the middle 30’s and the highs in the mid 60’s. Hope to see you in McCall! Please call if you have any questions or the ‘hot spot’ for fishing in McCall.
