The Golden Eagle Audubon Society is doing a trash cleanup on the upper Boise River in the Barber Pool Area. This is an opportunity for BVFF to volunteer and help clean-up the new Diane Moore Nature Area where we are working on trout habitat.
HERE'S WHAT YOU DO:
1. Register for this BVFF event, so we know how many folks are coming.
2. Register for the Golden Eagle event HERE.
- Choose the "Intermountain Bird Observatory River Site"
- You will get an email from them with instructions.
3. Meet at the Diane Moore Nature Center, which is between the NY Canal Diversion Dam and the HWY 21 bridge. Address is:

- BRING YOUR WADERS as we want to get trash out of the river where we can.
- It is a good idea to bring some sunblock and water along.
- Afterwards stay if you have time and help with a preliminary scout of rainbow trout spawning in the area.
