2025 Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo - Volunteer Informational Event

WE CAN REALLY USE YOUR HELP!

We are scheduling an event to answer any questions you have on volunteering for the Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo (WIFFE). The area leads will be on hand to share what your role will be when volunteering in their area. We will complete the schedule after this event and the leads from each area will communicate the details with you.

DATE:        Thursday, January 9, 2025

TIME:         6:00 to 8:00 PM

LOCATION: Boise Elks Lodge #310, 6608 Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83704

The WIFFE is our biggest annual fly fishing educational event and the major fundraiser to financially support our education, conservation, and access missions and projects. For the past 20+ years it has been run solely by volunteers like you and who, like you, have a passion for all things related to fly fishing. Please consider helping by volunteering.

Areas for Volunteer Opportunity:

• Anything - Willing to volunteer wherever needed.
• Ticket Booth - Entrance work as cashier, placing wrist bands. (30)
• Pond Setup and Tear-down - Casting pond setup before expo and tear-down after expo. (23)
• Programs - Assist in program areas to assist speakers and assist with issues. (30)
• Casting Ponds - Assist in casting areas to assist presenters and assist with issues. (14)
• BVFF Booth - Promote the BVFF club and sign-up new members. (7)
• Information Booth - Exhibitor and volunteer check-in and expo information. (8)

As a volunteer you will receive free entrance to the event on your day of volunteering.  We will also have a small gift as a token of our appreciation.
