Day-2 Electroshocking Was Rescheduled to 9/7 by the Cascade USFS. The Cascade US Forest Service is looking for help doing some fish electroshocking on small streams in the Cascade Area. Shocking is done with backpack electroshock devices and volunteers help net and measure what is found. At the request of the USFS, registration is limited to 3 people. Meet at the USFS office in Cascade, which is on HW55 next to the Ashley Inn. Volunteers be prepared to wade in creeks. Hip boots or wading pants work great. Bring your own lunch and water.

LOCATION: Cascade USFS Office TIME: Meet at 8AM Mountain Daylight Time. Finish by 5pm or sooner. Directions: Take Hwy 55 North from Boise to Cascade, about 80 miles. It takes about two hours, with a possible 15 minute delay at the Smiths Ferry Construction Carpooling is encouraged.
