Location: Swan Falls Dam to takeout point.

Date: Sunday 9-11-2022  Short Notice!

Outing Type:

A meet-up to do an afternoon bass float. This was a classic BVFF outing in the past!

Distance from Boise.

40 miles. We suggest you use Goggle Maps for Swan Falls, Dam.

Instruction from your outing coordinator:

• I'll go down about 3:30pm and set something up so people will know where to go.
• We will meet at the boat ramp below the dam. The trip can take several hours or just a couple. It is about a three-mile float.
• We will do a shuttle at 4 pm to the takeout. That will give about 3-4 hours for the float.
• Bass flies are the order for the day. I have made a bunch of poppers out of foam, and I can give some out if needed.
• I will be in a kick boat, but rafts and drift boats also work. Please note, this is a float trip. There is limit shore access at Swan Falls.
