BT's Fly Tying Friday returns for the new 22/23 season on Friday, 14 October 2022 at 6:00 PM Mountain. We'll start the evening sharing our new Zoom studio that includes a fly-testing tank we call "5-Mile Bar Pool." It's named after a very special place for us on the Salmon River in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. We'll share the story behind the name. Our thanks to David Buckner for sponsoring it and for his help with Digital Transportation. What is that you say? It's a science fiction look at the future of what fly tying might look like in the new digital world. The pattern(s) we'll share will be a surprise. Don't worry, they are very easy to tie. What's best, this last summer we found the fish really LOVE them. We are not getting rid of any of our go-to patterns. but these new flies may just get a permanent home in the BT's Go-To Fly Box.
