Cascade Electrofishing Day 1:2 (Limited To 3 Volunteers)

This event is being coordinated with the McCall/Cascade Fisheries
event being hosted by Dennis Moore.
(maximum of 3 volunteers)

The Cascade US Forest Service is looking for help doing a  fish survey on small streams in the Cascade Area.  Volunteers need to be able to hike in. Bring waders or hippers and be prepared for Fall weather. At the request of the USFS, registration is limited to 3 people per day.  Bring your own lunch and water.


TIME: Meet at 8AM Mountain Time. Back to Cascade by 5pm.

WHAT:  Sampling trout populations in local streams .

WHY:  Help map species distribution and look for undocumented bull trout populations

HOW:  Backpack electrofishing

WHERE: Cascade USFS Office
