LOCATION MAP AND DIRECTIONS:

Navigate to the Owyhee River Ranch (1880 Owyhee Lake Rd, Nyssa, OR 97913). The gravel augmentation is a mile past the ranch.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: There are many ways to get to the Owyhee. There are many paved routes, just make sure you go through the city of Adrian and avoid the "shortest" route that some mapping softwares will suggest over Snively Gulch Road. Below are directions from Caldwell, starting at the intersection of Highway 20/26 and I84.

  • Take I-84 W to Exit 26 (Notus. Parma)
  • Drive towards Parma on Highway 20/26
  • Drive through Notus and take the Highway 95 South Exit (before Parma).
  • Drive 2.3 miles and turn Right on Boise River Road
  • Follow Boise River Road to Rodeo Ln and turn Right.
  • Turn left on Highway 18 (Roswell Road) through the tiny town of Roswell.
  • Turn Right and cross the Snake River, following the signs to Adrian.
  • Continue past Adrian on Highway 201 for 2 miles and turn Left on Overstreet Rd.
  • Overstreet Rd will take you up and over a windy hill and down to the Owyhee River.
  • Turn Left on Owyhee Lake Road and drive 5 1/2 miles to the Owyhee River Ranch.
  • Continue past the Ranch for 1 mile to the augmentation site, below Sand Hollow Cr.
