BVFF Member Meetup App Training

The BVFF Board of Directors regrets to announce that our scheduled presenter for the St. Joe River program near Lewiston, Idaho, is unable to attend our member meeting on Thursday, June 11. As a result, we are pleased to offer an alternative program that many members have expressed interest in learning more about—the new BVFF Member Meetup App.
In late 2025, BVFF conducted a member survey, with results compiled in January 2026. One of the key findings was a desire for an online platform that would help club members connect with one another and organize informal fishing outings. Unlike club-sponsored trips and events, these meetups are intended to be member-to-member opportunities organized independently of the club.
In response to this feedback, the club’s officers evaluated several online options, always keeping the original goal in mind: helping BVFF members connect, fish together, and build friendships within our fly-fishing community.
At this meeting, you will be introduced to the new BVFF Member Meetup App and learn how it can help you find fishing partners and organize outings with fellow members. Assistance will also be available for anyone who would like help installing and signing up for the app using their smartphone.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to BVFF member Larry Fry, who has graciously volunteered to administer the app and provide this valuable new resource for our membership.
